From Body Color to Alloy Wheels, Everything is Unified in Black

The "X3 Celebration Edition 'Blackout'" arrives as the ninth model commemorating BMW's 100th anniversary. It is based on the "X3 xDrive20d M Sport," which features a 2-liter inline 4-cylinder diesel engine producing a maximum output of 135kW (184ps) and peak torque of 380Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

As the name "Blackout" suggests, the exterior is unified in black, from the Black Sapphire metallic body color to the 18-inch wheels. The interior also features a predominantly black theme. Accents such as brushed aluminum interior trim add a touch of sophistication throughout, while the HiFi speaker system delivers premium sound.

Priced at 6.98 million yen, 270,000 yen higher than the base model, this limited edition is capped at 200 units.

X3 and X4 Now Include Driver Assistance Systems as Standard

Additionally, BMW has newly equipped all models of theX3andX4with safety equipment and other features as standard. For both models, the "Driving Assistant Plus" system, which includes "Active Cruise Control," and the "Lane Change Warning" to support lane changes, are now standard.

Furthermore, Nevada leather seats and front seat heating for the driver and front passenger, previously exclusive to higher trim levels, are now also standard equipment.

BMW X4

The price for all models has increased by approximately 130,000 yen. The X3 series ranges from the entry-level "X3 xDrive20i" at 5.99 million yen to the "X3 xDrive35i M Sport" at 8 million yen. For the X4 series, the entry-level "X4 xDrive28i" is priced at 6.99 million yen, and the top-tier "X4 M40i" is 8.63 million yen.
