A Modern Expression of Driving Pleasure
The sporty "GT" and "GT Line" series, also available on Peugeot's core hatchback "308" and sedan "508," have now arrived for the latest "3008" SUV. Similar to the 308, the "GT Line" features sporty equipment, while the "3008 GT" offers a powerful engine.
This GT series of the 3008 is said to represent a modern take on driving pleasure, showcasing Peugeot's new vision for premium SUVs for those who seek driving enjoyment.
The "3008 GT" is powered by a 2.0-liter BlueHDi 180 S&S diesel engine paired with an EAT6 (6-speed automatic) transmission, making it the most powerful model in the lineup.
The exterior, featuring the distinctive "Coupe Franche" two-tone paint, presents a unique yet contemporary style. The front boasts a sporty, chequered grille shared with GT models, creating a commanding presence. Full LED headlights with sequential indicators (turn signals) are standard. The vehicle rides on 19-inch tires (235/50) with specially designed wheels.
The interior also features grey upholstery and seats made of Alcantara, with chrome accents throughout. Bronze stitching is applied to various areas, including the dashboard trim and door panels.
The dashboard is equipped with a touchscreen "i-Cockpit" for intuitive control of the radio, climate control, and navigation.
Meanwhile, the "3008 GT Line" retains the standard powertrain but is distinguished by dedicated "GT Line" badges on the front sides and tailgate, along with full LED lights and a unique grille. It also features 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels and black door mirror covers.
The 3008 GT and 3008 GT Line are scheduled for release in Europe around October 2016, with no confirmed introduction date for Japan.
