Adds "Sport Long" with AMG Design
Mercedes-Benz Japan announced on the 1st that it will partially revise the MPV "V-Class" and newly add the "V 220 d Sport Long," commencing sales.

Partial Revision Includes Larger Urea Solution Tank for "AdBlue"
The Mercedes-Benz MPV, which underwent a full model change last year and has been on sale in Japan since October,V-Classis exclusively offered with a 2.2-liter diesel turbo engine producing a maximum output of 120kW (163ps) and a maximum torque of 380Nm (38.7kgm), compliant with Japanese regulations. This lineup is also noteworthy.
The new "V 220 d Sport Long" variant has been added, featuring a sporty AMG line for both the interior and exterior. Based on the "V220 d Avantgarde Long," which is slightly longer than the base grade, it is equipped with a front spoiler, rear bumper, exclusive 19-inch AMG twin-spoke alloy wheels, and carbon-look interior trim.
Furthermore, it comes standard with a panoramic sliding roof, featuring an anti-pinch function, a first for the V-Class currently on sale.
The partial revision, applied to all grades, includes a larger tank for "AdBlue," the urea solution that is part of Mercedes-Benz's proprietary clean diesel technology. By increasing the capacity from 11.5 liters to 25 liters, the refueling cycle has been extended, allowing for continuous driving up to 20,000 km.
The steering wheel is right-hand drive only. The price for the newly added "V220 d Sport Long" is 8.19 million yen. The entry-grade "V 220 d Trend" is 5.50 million yen, the "V 220 d" is 6.36 million yen, the "V 220 d Avantgarde Long" is 7.13 million yen, and the "V 220 d Avantgarde Extra Long" is 7.49 million yen.
