Maximum Output Increased by 40 PS to 600 PS

The "M6 Celebration Edition “Competition”" has been announced as the sixth special limited edition model commemorating BMW's 100th anniversary. The powertrain has been enhanced beyond the standard M6, and it features various special equipment.

The powertrain features a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that has undergone further tuning, producing a maximum output of 441kW (600ps), an increase of 40ps, and a maximum torque of 700Nm (71.4kgm), an increase of 20Nm. Combined with the 7-speed M DCT transmission, it achieves 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds. The suspension and steering have also been specially tuned, and M Carbon Ceramic Brakes, which offer significant weight reduction, are standard equipment.

The exterior adopts a special Austin Yellow color. The 20-inch alloy wheels and kidney grille frame feature a special black paint finish, creating a sporty atmosphere. Furthermore, it is equipped with exclusive features such as a rear spoiler made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) and a diffuser below the rear bumper.

Looking at the interior, it is predominantly black with yellow stitching, and features an M Sport steering wheel, among other enhancements.

The "M6 Celebration Edition “Competition”" is a rare model, limited to just 13 units nationwide. It will be sold exclusively through 18 BMW M certified dealerships across the country, with a price of 23.21 million yen.
