DS 3 in Collaboration with Givenchy
Peugeot Citroën Japon has unveiled the "DS 3 Givenchy Le Makeup," a special edition created in collaboration with the prestigious French brand Givenchy, known for its fashion and cosmetics, for its debut in Japan.

The DS 3 for the Active Woman
Among the DS lineup, which has become a brand independent of Citroën, the compact hatchback model "DS3" and its open-top variant "DS 3 Cabrio" recently received a facelift and powertrain refresh. The "DS 3 Givenchy Le Makeup" is a limited edition model created through a collaboration with another French brand, "Givenchy," based on these new DS 3 models.
The exterior features Opalin White, a pearlescent white, adopted for the first time by the DS brand. Contrasting accents in deep purple, Whisper, adorn the roof and door mirror covers. The interior boasts a light pink dashboard to brighten the cabin. Additionally, LED lighting is used in the vanity mirror to enhance the complexion. The door pillars, console, and floor mats are engraved with the limited edition logo, "GIVENCHY Le Makeup."
The center console includes a special compartment designed to hold Givenchy makeup products. This compartment houses the mascara "Noir Couture," the new face powder "Prisme Visage" launching in September 2016, and the lipstick "Rouge Givenchy."
At the announcement event, Nicolas Degennes, Artistic Director of Makeup and Color at Givenchy, commented, "Producing this special DS 3 has been a long-held aspiration of mine. I've incorporated features to allow women to enjoy applying makeup inside the car. I truly hope active women in Japan will embrace this car."
Also present was Éric Apode, Vice President and Head of Product at DS Automobiles, who stated, "Givenchy and DS share many commonalities as leading brands representing an innovative and avant-garde Paris. The realization of this collaboration holds significant meaning for the DS brand. We sincerely hope the people of Japan will come to appreciate this shared value."
The "DS 3 Givenchy Le Makeup," a special edition produced in a global limited run of 1,400 units, is scheduled to be introduced to Japan in limited quantities this autumn.
