The Minorly Updated GT
The "GT," a sports model from Mercedes-AMG, the sub-brand of Mercedes-Benz, has undergone minor changes.
The base model "GT," which produces a maximum output of 340 kW (462 hp) and a maximum torque of 600 Nm from its 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, now comes standard with a basic pack that includes Nappa leather seats and hands-free access.
The "GT S," which uses the same engine but produces a maximum output of 375 kW (510 hp) and a maximum torque of 650 Nm, now comes standard with an exclusive package that includes AMG Performance seats, a Burmester surround sound system, and an anti-theft alarm system. Additionally, the dynamic engine mounts, AMG Performance steering wheel, and yellow instrument cluster, previously available as options under the AMG Dynamic Plus package, are now standard.
Another change common to both grades is that the metallic paint for the body color is now a standard color.
Sales of the new Mercedes-AMG GT specifications began on Thursday, May 12th, with prices set at 16.5 million yen for the GT and 19.3 million yen for the GT S.
