A Body Color Inspired by a "Gentleman's Suit"

Following the "i3 Celebration Edition Carbonite" which commemorated BMW's 100th anniversary, comes a special edition of the "5 Series" named "Baron," meaning "nobleman." The base model is the "523d," equipped with a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 135 kW (184 ps) and a peak torque of 380 Nm (38.7 kgm).

The body colors include "Mineral Grey" and "Mediterranean Blue," inspired by a "gentleman's suit." The interior features Oyster-colored leather seats paired with wood trim, and is equipped with an aroma diffuser and front seat heater. Additionally, exclusive accessories such as a coat hanger for jackets and a special key case are provided.

Other features include an automatic trunk lid operation that opens and closes the trunk with the push of a button, and soft-close doors that gently close the doors automatically.

The limited production run is 200 units, with a price of 7.77 million yen.
