The "3008" arrived in Japan in 2010 as Peugeot's first crossover vehicle.Facelifted in 2014, the model now features a new powertrain and a host of standard equipment, marking a further evolution.

The powertrain includes a 1.6-liter turbo engine, now with improved injection nozzles, boosting maximum output by 9 ps to 165 ps. The transmission has been upgraded to the third-generation 6-speed automatic (EAT6). With the addition of an idling stop function, fuel efficiency has improved by 40 percent compared to the previous model, achieving 14.6 km/ℓ.

Furthermore, it comes standard with "Grip Control." This system, evolved from traction control to manage wheelspin, offers three modes—"Snow," "Mud," and "Sand"—enhancing off-road capability even with the standard all-season tires on snowy or rough terrain.

The exterior emphasizes modernity with Peugeot's signature floating grille. Additionally, usability is enhanced with features like the two-part split tailgate for the luggage compartment.

The vehicle is now fully equipped as standard, including the panoramic glass roof previously exclusive to higher trims. Priced at 3.49 million yen, it represents a strategic value proposition.
