Available for the 1, 3, and 5 Series

The "M Performance" parts, an optional range jointly developed by BMW and BMW M GmbH, will now be released in Japan. While the name is nearly identical to "M Performance Automobiles," a brand launched by BMW M GmbH in Germany this year, there is no direct relation. These parts are offered as genuine accessories for the 1 Series, 3 Series, and 5 Series. They can be ordered individually, and like traditional BMW accessories, come with a two-year, unlimited mileage parts warranty.


Specifically, the options include exterior enhancements such as dedicated front spoiler sets, side skirts, black rear spoilers, carbon mirror covers, and stripe decals, as well as black kidney grilles. For the interior, there are steering wheels covered in Alcantara with a red center mark, carbon shift knobs with an open-pore finish, and carbon trim. The chassis can be upgraded with logo-emblazoned wheels, lightweight ventilated brake discs, and front four-piston and rear two-piston aluminum brake calipers available in red, yellow, or orange. These can be configured to match each of the 1, 3, and 5 Series models.
