A Limited Model Tasked with Enhancing Ford Brand Recognition
The "Kuga Titanium Kinetic Motion" is based on the "Titanium," the Kuga's higher-grade trim. As a model designed to more strongly convey the Kuga's design concept of "Kinetic" (dynamic) design, it retains the same core performance of 200ps maximum output and 320Nm maximum torque with four-wheel drive, while adding unique design and equipment for a special edition.
A significant difference from the standard model is the adoption of a normal roof for the first time in the Titanium trim (the base model features a panoramic glass roof). This is said to be in response to user requests that have been made for some time. By changing the tire size from the conventional 18-inch (235/50R18) to 19-inch (235/45R19), the vehicle achieves a sportier appearance.
In addition to the popular Panther Black and Ice White body colors, the lineup includes the vibrant Mars Red and Blazer Blue as limited-edition colors. Furthermore, a navigation system with a built-in digital terrestrial full-segment TV tuner is standard equipment. The price is 3.89 million yen, an increase of 110,000 yen over the base model.
According to Ford Japan, the Kuga has been highly praised by users since its introduction in Japan, and this Titanium Kinetic Motion aims to further enhance the presence of both the Kuga and the Ford brand.
