Audi Launches Special Limited Edition A1 Inspired by Japan's National Football Team

Audi Japan has released the "A1 SAMURAI BLUE Limited Edition," a special limited model inspired by Japan's national football team, based on the A1, the most compact model in the company's lineup. Only 111 units are available.

SAMURAI BLUE

Audi supports football clubs worldwide and has been a supporting company for the Japan national football team since 2011. Many will recall that Audi provided 22 A1s when the Nadeshiko Japan team won their championship.

The "A1 SAMURAI BLUE Limited Edition" is based on the 1.4 TFSI model available in Japan, featuring Amalfi White as its base color, accented with blue, the image color of the Japan national football team. The interior also features blue accents throughout, including on the door sill plates and floor mats, against a black base. The price is ¥3,450,000.

Furthermore, there was a "A1 SAMURAI BLUE" model unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show, which was subsequently exhibited across Japan. This unique, one-of-a-kind model boasted not only a striking exterior but also a custom-made interior, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship. A lottery was held for potential buyers of this single unit, and the handover ceremony coincided with this announcement. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this vehicle will be donated to support the recovery of the football community.
