Special Anniversary Model of the MINI Crossover Arrives

BMW announced that it will begin sales of the "MINI Crossover Buckingham," a special commemorative model celebrating the 10th anniversary of MINI's launch in Japan, at all authorized MINI dealers nationwide starting March 2nd (MINI Day). This is a special edition model based on the MINI One Crossover.

Distinctive Exterior Achieved

The "MINI Crossover Buckingham" announced this time is based on the entry-level model of the fourth MINI family,MINI Crossoverthe "MINI One Crossover." As evidenced by the availability of the four-wheel-drive system "MINI ALL4" as an option for the "MINI Cooper S Crossover," the "Crossover" is an SUV-like model with a large, five-door body.

This special edition model is available in three body colors: "Light White," "Absolute Black," and "Pure Red," with sports stripes and equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels. The interior features exclusive seats that offer a premium seating experience, with color lines in "Surf Blue" or "Pure Red" to match the body color. BMW states that these, combined with the dark silver cockpit surface, emphasize a vivid contrast, similar to the exterior.

It is powered by a 1.6-liter inline four-cylinder engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The price is 2,902,000 yen.
