Surpassing Existing Crossover Models

Frankfurt Motor ShowAt the Frankfurt Motor Show, Mazda announced its concept model "Koshitsu KOERU." It is said to be a new proposal that "surpasses" the concept of existing crossover models.

Mazda explains that its exterior design, based on the "Kodo - Soul of Motion" design theme, has evolved by incorporating a sense of Japanese depth. While incorporating new approaches in its details, the overall silhouette clearly identifies it as a Mazda vehicle.

Its body dimensions are 4,600mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,500mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700mm. These proportions are similar to the current "CX-5" (4,540mm length, 1,840mm width, 1,705mm height, 2,700mm wheelbase), except for the height.

The powertrain fully adopts Mazda's proud SKYACTIV technology, pursuing the "driving pleasure" that Mazda strives for. Furthermore, in addition to its flowing body shape, efforts in underfloor and rear airflow control have achieved excellent aerodynamic characteristics, realizing a refined driving experience that surpasses existing crossovers.
