The World's Greatest Loop Stunt

On the evening of September 14th, UK time, ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show, Jaguar's first SUV, which had previously beenthe C-X17 concept modelmaking appearances as a concept, was finally revealed as the production model, the F-Pace.

The F-Pace appeared by completing a 360-degree vertical rotation within the giant '0' marking the 80th anniversary of the Jaguar brand. This exhibition broke a Guinness World Record, successfully navigating a 19.08-meter high loop.


This marks the second time Jaguar has broken a Guinness World Record with a circus-like automotive performance, following the tightrope walk during the launch of thenew XFin March.

Terry Grant, the British stunt driver behind the wheel of the F-Pace for this event, underwent two months of training and was prepared to withstand forces of up to 6.5G, exceeding those experienced by Space Shuttle pilots. Naturally, months of meticulous planning by design engineers, mathematicians, and safety experts went into this feat.

Limited Edition Model Also Introduced

Coinciding with this unveiling, Jaguar also announced the "First Edition" of the F-Pace, a globally limited run of 2,000 units.

The engine options include a V6 gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 380ps or a 300ps V6 diesel. The body colors offered are the "Cesium Blue" that adorned the FF Pace concept model "C-X17" at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and the "Hallucination Gold" shown at the subsequent Guangzhou Motor Show. "Rhodium Silver" and "Ultimate Black" are also available.

Equipment includes 22-inch contrast color wheels, full LED headlights, a sliding panoramic roof, and Adaptive Dynamics, which allows for personalized damper settings.

The interior features Light Oyster Windsor soft grain leather. The seat upholstery is embossed with a houndstooth pattern and finished with twin-needle stitching.
