Renault Original Stamps Also Debut
The Kangoo, popular not only in its home country but also in Japan for its playful looks and practicality, characteristic of French cars, now has a new limited edition model.
Previously, it collaborated with the French patisserie "Pierre Hermé" for theKangoo Chocolatand created a one-of-a-kind special car, the "My Melody Kangoo," for Sanrio's "My Melody" 40th anniversary event, among other developments. This time, the theme chosen is the "French postal vehicle."
"La Poste," also used in the name of the limited edition car, refers to the French postal service. The Kangoo, which has long served as a postal vehicle in France, Renault's home country, is affectionately called the "happy yellow postal vehicle" there, and this limited edition car also features the same yellow color scheme.
The interior is just like a postal vehicle, with a dashboard center tray for documents and a folding front passenger seat where a postal delivery basket can be set, demonstrating a full measure of playfulness.
The new limited edition Kangoo "La Poste," debuting with the concept of "delivering thoughts," is priced at 2,415,000 yen, with 150 units available starting today.
To commemorate this debut, Renault Japon has opened a special website. In line with the URL "www.laposte.fr" found on the side of actual French postal vehicles, a special page with the address "www.laposte.jp" has been created on the Renault Japon homepage. Visitors can find more detailed information about the connection between postal vehicles and the Kangoo, in addition to product information.

At the Hongō Post Office, the venue for the announcement, Mr. Tsuyoshi Ougoku, President and Representative Director of Renault Japon, performed a symbolic act of posting a letter in a French mailbox.
Additionally, at all authorized Renault dealerships nationwide, a campaign will be held on September 5th (Saturday) and 6th (Sunday), offering Renault original stamps to those who take a test drive or have their vehicle appraised.
Four types of stamps are available: "Kangoo La Poste," "Lutecia," "Captur," and "Megane R.S." From September 7th (Monday), they will also be sold for 1,242 yen on the Renault Japon web shop (http://www.renault-webshop.jp/).
