Minor Change Makes it a Car Families Will Love Even More
Renault Japon announced that it will release a minor change to the "Kangoo," with partial modifications to its interior and exterior, starting Wednesday, September 7th.

An Even Wider Range of Color Options
The "Kangoo" boasts a spacious interior, abundant utility, and ample luggage space. Since its launch in 1997, it has sold approximately 2.9 million units worldwide and is Renault's best-selling car in Japan.
In 2009, a full model change maintained the same concept, and its cargo-style, playful design and colors, unlike those found in Japanese cars, have garnered support as an accessible French car.
In this minor change, the exterior now features body-colored side moldings and silver door handles (however, if the body color is "Jaune Agrume" (yellow), the side moldings remain black). The interior adopts a dark carbon color scheme with a light gray seat color, further enhancing its premium feel. Additionally, a thoughtful feature for parents has been added: a child mirror, allowing the driver to see children seated in the rear seats.
New colors, "Bleu Étoile Metallic" (light blue) and "Maron Chocolat Metallic" (brown), have been added, bringing the total to 10 colors and expanding the range of choices.
The powertrain consists of a 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine housed in a body measuring 4,215mm in length, 1,830mm in width, and 1,810mm in height. With a maximum output of 78kW (105ps) at 5,750rpm and a maximum torque of 148Nm (15.1kgm) at 3,750rpm, it offers sufficient performance for daily driving. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic with a manual mode.
The "Kangoo" is not only ideal for families but also offers a versatile and functional interior that supports various ways of enjoying the car, such as outdoor adventures or drives with pets. With its further evolution, it stands as a vehicle that stylishly and comfortably supports the lives of any generation.
