Generous Use of Carbon Fiber

The new Bentley Continental GT, which underwent a full model change in February 2011 and has already arrived in Japan.Bentley Continental GTIt features a 6-liter W12 engine, producing a maximum output of 423 kW (575 ps) and peak torque of 700 Nm. With a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 318 km/h, its powerful acceleration performance is impressive, undeterred by its 2,320 kg curb weight. This model is a highly refined package, inheriting the design and functionality of its predecessor, with craftsmanship evident in every detail. Bentley has now introduced the "Mulliner Styling Specification," a styling option package that adds further presence to this luxury coupe.

The "Classic Pack," which will be released first, features custom-made components. Glossy black carbon fiber is used for the front bumper splitter and the integrated strakes in the lower air intake grille, giving the front a tighter impression than before. Carbon fiber is also employed for the "Winged B"-embossed extension blades just below the side sills and the full-width diffuser, sharpening the contours of the entire exterior.

Four Additional Options Besides the Classic Pack

In addition to the main items in the Classic Pack, four optional items will also be available. Carbon fiber is used for the rear spoiler and door mirror cowls. Furthermore, customers can opt for elegant 21-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels with a black finish, meticulously detailed, and dark chrome mesh vents (with carbon fiber bezels) positioned just behind the front wheel arches.

This package not only adds flair and enhances individuality but has also undergone rigorous quality and technical testing and development programs. Carbon fiber has been approved for active use following validation tests under extreme climatic and usage conditions, ensuring it meets Bentley's high standards of durability.

The Mulliner Styling Specification Classic Pack ($9,775 / €7,540) will go on sale in June 2011. The other four optional items (Rear Spoiler | $2,905 / €2,241, Mirror Cowl | $2,905 / €2,241, Dark Chrome Mesh Vent | $6,174 / $4,764, 21-inch Alloy Wheels | $7,700 / €5,940) are scheduled for release around autumn 2011. Sales in Japan have not yet been announced.
