Acceleration is brisk, with 0-100km/h covered in 4.4 seconds. These figures represent the highest performance ever achieved by a production vehicle developed by BMW M. Environmental performance is also impressive, with fuel economy of 28.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 232g/km recorded in the EU combined cycle. The exterior design incorporates M's essence into the current 5 Series. The front fascia is particularly striking, with three enlarged air intakes below the kidney grille, creating a design that emphasizes the M5's performance.
