Audi's Flagship with W12 Engine is Here!

Audi Japan has added the high-end model "Audi A8 L W12 quattro," a long-wheelbase version of the premium luxury saloon "Audi A8" equipped with a 6.3-liter W12 DOHC engine, to its lineup and commenced sales.

Max Output 368kW (500ps), Max Torque 625Nm (63.7kgm)

The "A8 L" extends the standard wheelbase of the "A8" by 130mm to 3,120mm for improved spaciousness. Previously, the lineup included the "A8 L FSI quattro" equipped with a 4.2-liter V8 DOHC engine.

The newly introduced "Audi A8 L W12 quattro" features a 6.3-liter W12 DOHC engine in a body measuring 5,275mm in length, 1,950mm in width, and 1,465mm in height. It delivers immense power with a maximum output of 368kW (500ps) at 6,200rpm and a maximum torque of 625Nm (63.7kgm) at 4,750rpm, while also offering exceptional quietness, embodying a true flagship saloon.

The transmission is an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic only, and the steering wheel can be chosen from the right or left side.

The exterior features a panoramic sunroof with large openings. Additionally, the black roof, rear bumper skirt with trapezoidal exhaust trims, aluminum wheels, and the signature Audi Singleframe grille are all exclusive designs, proudly showcasing the "Audi A8 L W12 quattro" as the pinnacle of Audi's lineup.

The price is 20.61 million yen, which is 7.71 million yen higher than the "A8 L FS quattro."
