The "Roland Garros" Model Returns After Six Years

A special edition of the "207CC" has been created, bearing the name of Roland Garros, the court of the French Open, one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments. Peugeot has been a sponsor of the French Open since 1989, providing official cars. Each year, they announce a "Roland Garros" special edition model to coincide with the tournament. In Japan, this marks the first appearance in six years since the "206" in 2003, the "206CC" in 2004, and the "307SW" in 2005.

The 207CC, which allows for seamless enjoyment of both coupe and convertible modes, is equipped with a 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine within its body dimensions of 4,030mm (length) x 1,750mm (width) x 1,395mm (height). It features a 4-speed automatic transmission. The maximum output is 88kW (120ps) at 6,000rpm, and the maximum torque is 160Nm (16.3kgf·m) at 4,250rpm.

The special edition model sports a body color inspired by the clay courts and white lines of "Roland Garros." It is paired with the popular "Bianca White" and elegant Alezan leather, creating a sporty yet sophisticated impression. "Roland Garros" emblems on the front doors and rear accentuate its special status. Furthermore, it rides on sporty 17-inch alloy wheels that support agile driving. The interior features a sports leather steering wheel, and the floor mats are embroidered with "Roland Garros."

Only 20 units are available, priced at 3.24 million yen.
