A 4WD Boasting 89g/km CO2 Emissions

Making its debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show is the prototype "Range_e," currently under development at Land Rover's Design & Engineering Centre in the UK.

The Range_e is a premium SUV developed based on the Range Rover Sport, combining a 3-liter TDV6 diesel engine and an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with a parallel diesel plug-in hybrid system, making it Land Rover's first plug-in hybrid vehicle. It is also capable of zero-emission driving.

In terms of environmental performance, while the Range Rover Sport emits 243g/km of CO2, the Range_e achieves a significantly improved 89g/km. Its electric-only range is up to 32km, with a top speed of approximately 193km/h, marking exceptionally strong figures.

Evoque Pricing Announced

The "Range Rover Evoque," the lightest and most compact model in Range Rover's history, which premiered at last year's Paris Motor Show, will finally have its European market pricing revealed at the press day of this Geneva Motor Show. According to Land Rover's latest announcement, the Evoque will be launched in two body styles: a 3-door coupe and a 5-door model.

This compact off-road 4WD is available with a variety of interior and exterior customization options. Notably, customers can choose from three distinct design themes for the trim: the contemporary "Pure," the luxurious "Prestige," and the sporty "Dynamic." The specifications for each variation will also be on display.

Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's Design Director, stated, "Many customers are interested in customizing their vehicles. While the Evoque retains the essential elements that refresh the Range Rover design, it also allows for a more personalized specification."

Two Special Limited Editions Also Debut

In addition to these, two limited edition models will make their debut. One of them, the "Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition," is touted as the most luxurious Range Rover ever, brimming with craftsmanship. It features hand-stitched leather and teak flooring inspired by luxury yachts. An iPad is standard equipment for rear-seat passengers.

Joining these is the 2011 "Discovery 4 Limited Edition," with its luxurious space themed in black and white, further refining the lineup.
