Milan Salone Exhibition Works Displayed at "INTERSECT BY LEXUS" in Minami-Aoyama

Triumphant Display of Installation That Won Best Entertaining Award
Launched in 2013, the "Lexus Design Award" aims to foster emerging creators who generate ideas for a better future through designs that enrich society. For its third iteration, the theme was "Senses," attracting 1,171 entries from 72 countries.12 works received awards.
At Milan Salone, prototypes of these award-winning works were presented in the Lexus exhibition space. Each award-winning team also gave a presentation, with "Sence-Wear" by Italians Emanuele Corti and Ivan Parati, a collection of clothing and accessories designed to heighten sensory awareness, taking home the Grand Prix.
The venue will feature prototypes such as "Sence-Wear" and "ANIMAL MASKS," which simulate animal vision, alongside display panels.
Meanwhile, the installation "LEXUS - A JOURNEY OF THE SENSES," a collaboration between French designer Philippe Nigro and Chef Hajime Yoneda of the popular Osaka restaurant "Hajime," received the official "Best Entertaining Award" – a first for an automotive manufacturer. Parts of this installation will also be exhibited.
This exhibition showcases diverse designs through the lens of "senses," which also connect to the driving experience. The excitement of Milan Salone arrives in Tokyo.
