Symbolizing Four Consecutive F1 Championships

Infiniti, Nissan's global luxury brand, will unveil the "Q50 Eau Rouge" concept car at the NAIAS (Detroit Motor Show) in January, projecting an F1 image onto its premium mid-size model, the Q50.

The Q50, also sold in Japan as the new "Skyline," is a key model in North America. Following Infiniti's recent nomenclature changes for its production vehicles, the current sedan is sold as the "Q50," and the coupe model as the "Q60."

Meanwhile, as you know, Infiniti is currently the title sponsor for the F1 Red Bull Racing team. This formidable team, powered by Renault engines in partnership with Nissan, saw its ace driver Sebastian Vettel achieve an overwhelming victory, winning 13 out of 19 races in the latter half of the season.

This secured both the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships for Vettel and "Infiniti Red Bull Racing," simultaneously achieving the remarkable feat of four consecutive F1GP titles.

As its name suggests, the "Q50 Eau Rouge" is named after the "Eau Rouge" corner, a signature feature of the renowned Belgian circuit "Spa-Francorchamps." It blends cutting-edge technology with the image of F1, motorsport's pinnacle, incorporating aerodynamic parts reminiscent of a circuit-ready machine, along with design and color schemes inspired by "Infiniti Red Bull Racing."

In a sense, the "Q50 Eau Rouge" can also be seen as a commemorative model celebrating the glory of "Infiniti Red Bull Racing's" four consecutive F1GP championships in 2013. Its design and performance capabilities will be revealed at the NAIAS (Detroit Motor Show), opening in one month.
