BMW 3 Serieshas newly appeared as its coupe model.4 SeriesThe "M4," its high-performance variant, has been announced as a concept model.
The "Concept M4 Coupe," clad in a gold body color named "Aurum Dust," features a redesigned front fascia. A large air intake, CFRP front splitter, blacked-out kidney grille, and a hood with a power dome enhance its striking visual impact.
Air vents to cool the carbon-ceramic brakes are equipped on both sides of the front fenders. The rear features four exhaust pipes and a CFRP diffuser. Naturally, the roof is also made of CFRP for an even lower center of gravity, and it rides on 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
This announcement is purely to express the design direction the M4 Coupe aims for. No details about its performance have been disclosed, but it is expected to be powered by a newly developed inline-six engine.
For now, we look forward to admiring its form at this weekend's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on the American West Coast.
