Honda NSX Unveiled



Honda has unveiledGeneva Motor Show 2013at the Geneva Motor Show 2013: the "NSX Concept," the "Civic Tourer Concept," and the CR-V equipped with a 1.6-liter "i-DTEC" diesel engine.

This year in January,Detroit Motor Show 2013appeared at theAcura NSX Concepthas now appeared at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 as the European-spec Honda version.

Since production ended in 2005, plans and development for a successor have been underway. The planned 2015 launch year is now drawing near. This concept model, shown at this exhibition, gives the impression of being quite close to the production model.

Additionally, the "Civic Tourer Concept," a wagon-type concept model based on the European-exclusive "Civic," made its world premiere. Its launch is slated for early 2014. The CR-V, equipped with the 1.6-liter "i-DTEC" boasting CO2 emissions of 119g/km, was also unveiled. This is expected to go on sale around the autumn of 2013.

Furthermore, regarding the "Civic Type-R," which is under development aiming for a 2015 launch, an announcement was made that testing will commence this year at Germany's Nürburgring.
