Mulsanne 2014: Even More Comfort
Bentley has announced the specifications for the 2014 model year of its flagship model, theMulsannewhich will be unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show in March. The new model year sees the addition of optional packages and body colors.

New Options for Enhanced Rear Seat Comfort
The 2014 Mulsanne appears set to further strengthen its character as a bespoke grand tourer.
The newly introduced "Comfort Specification" is an optional package that enhances the comfort of the rear seats with improved headrests and footrests, along with added cushions. The headrests feature adjustable wing supports and an increased vertical dimension to accommodate a wider range of heights. The footrests are designed to blend seamlessly into the cabin and can be stowed beneath the front seats when not in use. Additionally, the package includes cushions filled with duck down, upholstered in leather matching the seats and adorned with Bentley's wings. Naturally, stitching and piping can be customized to the customer's preference.
For the rear seats, storage pockets in the armrests have also been made standard.
Ivory or black privacy curtains are also available as an option. They operate electrically and feature an anti-pinch function.
Enhanced Connectivity and Entertainment Features
The "Entertainment Specification" offers an option that provides rear-seat passengers with iPads and large 8-inch displays.
The iPads are housed within tables installed in the back of the front seats. The leather-covered table surface lifts at the touch of a button, revealing the iPad and keyboard. Internet connectivity is provided via the car's onboard Wi-Fi router.
While the iPad is charged when the engine is running, it can also be removed from the table and taken along upon arrival at the destination.
Furthermore, 8-inch displays are embedded in the headrests of the front seats, connected to a DVD player and a 20GB hard drive. Wireless headphones utilizing Bluetooth are also available. The audio system features "Naim for Bentley," from the pure audio brand "Naim."
New Body Colors and Bespoke Luggage
Along with these optional features, the 2014 model year will introduce three new body colors: "Dark Cashmere," "Portofino," and "Damson."
Additionally, a bespoke set of Schedoni luggage specifically for the Mulsanne has been developed. The set comprises two large cases, two small cases, and two foldable garment bags, totaling six pieces, with a design that echoes the inner door panels.
The frames and main panels of these cases can be individually selected, allowing them to be matched with the Mulsanne's interior. While a set of six is available, individual pieces can also be ordered.
The Mulsanne, featuring these new options and body colors, will be presented at the Geneva International Motor Show in early March, with orders scheduled to begin in April.
