First, the Sketches
Debuted at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'EleganceBentley's flagship model, the "Mulsanne," debuted in 2009. Three years later, this year, the marque has unveiled sketches of its convertible version, again on the stage of the Monterey Peninsula on the American West Coast.
The Mulsanne, a large saloon, boasts a body measuring 5,575mm in length and is powered by a turbocharged V8 engine producing a maximum output of 512ps and a formidable torque of 1020Nm. The "Mulsanne Convertible Concept" is naturally based on this car, but with the conversion to a convertible, it has been transformed from a four-door to a two-door, four-seat configuration. Like Bentley's previous models, the roof appears to be a retractable soft-top.
Although this was presented solely as a sketch, it is safe to say that another model has emerged that will pique our interest for future updates.
