Volkswagen Lavida
The Lavida is a mid-size sedan developed in China. The first generation was launched in June 2008, and this marks the unveiling of its second generation.
This car is incredibly popular in China; the previous model had sold 700,000 units by January of this year. This figure is astonishing for a car launched just three and a half years ago. It reigns supreme in China's fiercely competitive car segment.
The new model is equipped with features tailored to the needs of the Chinese market and a design that appeals to their aesthetic sensibilities. The front fascia has a clean image, with the overall theme being modern and sporty. Naturally, it also reflects Volkswagen's latest "design DNA."
Three engine options and four trim levels appear to be available. Even the base grade comes with essential safety features such as ABS, ESP, and front airbags.
