Specifically, while retaining the transaxle layout, it has been revamped, shortening the wheelbase and lowering the engine, dashboard, and seats to achieve a more compact rear section. The design prioritizes fluid dynamics, achieved through wind tunnel testing, resulting in a low-center-of-gravity, compact body with excellent aerodynamic performance, achieving a Cd value of 0.299.

The monocoque body utilizes a mix of twelve aluminum alloys, improving rigidity by 20 percent and achieving a curb weight of 1,525 kg. The front-rear weight distribution is 46:54.

The 6,262cc V12 engine is naturally aspirated, producing a maximum output of 740 ps, which translates to 118 ps per liter. While the maximum torque is 690 Nm, this engine, which revs up to 8,700 rpm, delivers 80 percent of its maximum torque from as low as 2,500 rpm. It is paired with an F1 dual-clutch transmission. The weight-to-power ratio is 2.1 kg/ps, and CO2 emissions are 350 g/km.

It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.5 seconds, with a lap time of 1 minute 23 seconds at the Fiorano circuit, making it the fastest Ferrari road car ever!
