The “86” and the “SUBARU BRZ” will also be exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show. The BRZ, jointly developed with Toyota Motor Corporation, is a sister model to the Toyota “86” and has garnered significant attention.
Additionally, the fourth-generationImpreza, announced at the Tokyo Motor Show, will be exhibited as a European specification 5-door model with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Subaru's AWD (All Wheel Drive) system, first featured in the “Subaru Leone Estate Van 4WD” released in September 1972. To commemorate this milestone, the Geneva Motor Show will highlight the horizontally opposed engine and Symmetrical AWD, featuring a 3D game, graphics tracing the history of AWD, and a logo expressing “handling that matches the driver's intentions.”
