The Bentayga's Top Model, the "Speed," Arrives in Japan Spring 2021
Bentley Motors Japan has announced the price for the top model of the luxury SUV "Bentayga," the "Bentayga Speed," at 32,615,000 yen. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in spring 2021.

The "Speed" model reigns as Bentley's pinnacle. The Bentayga, which received a facelift in July 2020, also features a Speed model, and its price and delivery timing for Japan have now been revealed.
The Bentayga Speed is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo engine, hand-assembled by skilled craftsmen. It produces a maximum output of 635 ps and peak torque of 900 Nm, achieving a top speed of 306 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Engine efficiency is also paramount. The engine control unit can deactivate six cylinders on one bank as needed, and based on data from intake and exhaust sensors, it can switch banks to minimize temperature drops in the cylinders and converter, thereby avoiding temporary increases in exhaust gas. This not only reduces CO2 emissions but also significantly improves fuel economy during cruising at half throttle.
To effectively harness this power, the Bentayga Speed offers four drive dynamics modes: "Bentley," which balances ride comfort and performance for on-road driving, and "Sport," which prioritizes performance, among others.
It also features "Bentley Dynamic Ride," the world's first electric active roll control technology. This 48V system instantly suppresses body roll during cornering, maximizing tire contact and contributing to stability, comfort, and steering response.
Looking at the exterior, the body is adorned with exclusive "Speed" badges, signifying its position as the top-grade Bentayga. The body is available in 17 standard colors, with an additional 47 optional colors and 47 colors from Mulliner, plus 24 choices for the optional two-tone finish.
The interior color split is unique to the Speed model, with primary leather on the seats and interior trim accentuating the dark colors. All seat backrests feature "Speed" embroidery.
The infotainment system features a 10.9-inch high-resolution touchscreen, and the driver information panel is fully digital.
The Bentayga Speed is priced at 32,615,000 yen, with deliveries scheduled for spring, the second quarter of 2021.
