Great news for 110 fans—a test drive of the diesel model of the new Defender 110 | Land Rover

Air Suspension for a Comfortable and Enjoyable Ride

The styling incorporates elements of the original Defender. This includes the front fascia, flared fenders, a somewhat compact cabin, a boat-shaped roof when viewed from the rear, and the small windows for light at the top of the rear seats, known as "alpine lights."
The interior design adopts functional elements. "Functional" here refers to a modern interpretation of the original Defender's exposed metal dashboard and door trims.
In contrast, contemporary Land Rover products, including the Range Rover, excel at creating luxurious and glamorous atmospheres within their competitive set.
The underlying architecture is largely shared, so it's not truly "old." Features such as systems that actively assess external conditions using cameras, various driving safety functions, off-road capability, and an infotainment system with an external communication module seem to be well-covered.
The abundance of package options is also appealing. Some might be drawn to the waterproof and lockable "Exterior Side Mounted Gear Carrier," which was advertised from the initial launch as being useful for storing dirty clothes from outdoor activities.
These are matters of personal preference, so we won't dwell on them here. As for driving options, the air suspension, as expected, is a good match. It effectively balances ride comfort on straightaways with control of the vehicle's movements during cornering, resulting in a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The "Defender 110 D300" starts at 7.54 million yen. As mentioned earlier, the long delivery times are somewhat inconvenient. The Japanese subsidiary states, "Orders placed in summer will be delivered early next year."
A friend of mine who placed an order for this very 110 D300 with air suspension and other options was told delivery would be next summer. Its popularity is, after all, a cause for great joy.
