For example, what if a customer's hobby is falconry? Could a German luxury brand or an Italian supercar truly serve as a suitable accommodation for a trained raptor poised to hunt?

The answer is no.

However, Bentley can effortlessly meet such customer requests. What we introduce here is the "Bentayga Falconry," equipped to cover everything necessary for the noble sport of falconry. The production was handled by Mulliner, Bentley's personal commissioning department, and the vehicle itself is named "Bentayga Falconry." Indeed, this car is a special model created at the request of a customer from the Middle East.

The Mulliner-crafted interior features two individual cork trim units. One is the Master Flight Station (right luggage compartment), a storage space for equipment essential to the unique sport of falconry, such as gloves, GPS bird tracking units, and binoculars. Within this, a drawer of piano black, adorned with an illustration of a falcon and the Mulliner logo, is also provided.

The other, a Refreshment Case (left luggage compartment), neatly stores items like beverage bottles, three cups, a blanket, and face towels, along with covers for the luggage compartment and tailgate. These covers are reversible and useful for creating shade when the falcon is resting. The cork surface of the Refreshment Case bears the Bentley logo, while the cork surface of the Master Flight Station displays the Mulliner logo.

A detachable cork tether rests on the center armrest of the cabin, and the dashboard is also adorned with unique wood featuring motifs of falcons and deserts. The design, embedded in the dashboard and inspired by falcons and deserts, is crafted entirely from real wood, combining several different types to represent the shading of falcon feathers and sand. Forty-three pieces of wood, carefully selected from around the world—including Chestnut, Eucalyptus Pommele, Holly, Burr Walnut, Maple, Olive Ash, and Ripple Sycamore—come together to complete a one-of-a-kind artwork inspired by deserts and falcons.

The Possibilities of Bespoke Are Infinite

Merely looking at this design and finish reveals its unique and special value. All these bespoke interior features and equipment are handcrafted by skilled artisans, with the production process taking nine days.

Falconry is a sport favored by Middle Eastern royalty and may not be familiar to us, but to be clear, the point is not that this Bentayga was made suitable for falconry. The crucial aspect is Bentley's capability to provide bespoke solutions tailored to every customer's tastes and preferences.

With the Bentayga's Drive Dynamics Mode and the optional Responsive Off-Road Setting, you can venture into deserts and virtually any place on Earth accessible by car, provided the driver has the courage. The Responsive Off-Road Setting allows selection of vehicle settings suitable for all off-road terrains, and the Driver Information Panel displays advanced information such as pitch, roll, wheel articulation, steering angle, and compass bearing, providing a clear understanding of the Bentayga's movements.

Furthermore, like all Bentley models, the Bentayga is equipped with multi-mode air suspension. The driver can arbitrarily select the ride height from four modes: High 1, High 2, Normal, and Low. For more challenging off-road excursions, one can set the ride height to its highest point using High 2, for example. Conversely, for easier loading of luggage or towing a trailer, the rear suspension can be lowered with a single touch.

With a Bentayga that can handle any terrain, customers can combine bespoke equipment tailored to their specific hobbies, allowing them to bring their gear wherever their interests take them. The possibilities are truly endless.

Incidentally, the falcon mentioned in this article is a bird classified in the order Falconiformes, family Falconidae, genus Falco, known as the saker falcon. Trained for hunting, it has lived alongside humans for centuries. The fact that a single bird can fetch upwards of $1 million is, of course, a rather unrefined aside.
