A Luxurious MINI with the Aura of Rolls-Royce
As its name suggests, the "MINI INSPIRED BY GOODWOOD" is the most luxurious MINI, crafted by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, headquartered in Goodwood.
The exterior is based on the MINI Cooper S, painted in Rolls-Royce's signature Diamond Black metallic. It features 17-inch silver multi-spoke alloy wheels and unique side scuttles located behind the front fenders.
The interior is finished in Rolls-Royce's Cornsilk Beige leather with trim elements of Rolls-Royce's exclusive Walnut wood inlay. The headliner is made of cashmere, and the floor mats are crafted from long-pile wool fleece. Additionally, the font for the tachometer behind the steering wheel and the speedometer in the center console have been replaced with Rolls-Royce's typeface. The car also includes features that are optional on the base Cooper S model, such as the harman/kardon HiFi system and MINI Visual Boost.
This MINI Inspired by Goodwood, evoking the spaciousness of a Rolls-Royce, is priced at 5.7 million yen in Japan. Available only with an automatic transmission, it is being sold in a limited global edition of 1,000 units.
