Another Gem of the Frankfurt Show
This year's Frankfurt Motor Show was a vibrant affair, showcasing a host of next-generation eco-cars and unique concept vehicles, spearheaded by the SUVs that premium brands are fiercely competing to develop. But cars weren't the only things gracing the exhibition halls. Fumio Ogawa brings us his final report from the scene.

Beside the Beautiful Blonde, There Was a Car
Another highlight of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show was the presence of young women (a constant at any show, really). They served various roles: models standing by the cars, companions explaining them, and receptionists at the press check-in handing out materials.

Companions at the Audi booth. On press days, the area was swarming with people, making them difficult to find.
The women's roles were diverse, including their level of attire. Interestingly, observing them—their fashion and what they were doing—seemed to offer clues about the content each manufacturer wanted to emphasize. Regarding revealing outfits, the Frankfurt Motor Show has traditionally been quite conservative. Instead, they often employed local student part-timers to thoroughly educate visitors about the company and its vehicles.

Here are companions for the Rolls-Royce "Dawn." They were regulating access to the car. Busy people.
The Volkswagen Group had an overwhelming number of women present at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. What stood out was the difference in fashion among the brands. While Volkswagen featured many young people in casual, washed-out T-shirts, its sister brand Skoda opted for slightly more mature-looking collarless sleeveless tops. Audi, in contrast, wore jackets to emphasize elegance.
Another striking observation was the prevalence of blond women. The reason remains unclear, but their hair seemed to catch the light, shimmering. Beside the beautiful blonde, there was a car. It's true that they served as a visual landmark in the crowded venue.
