Toyota has partially refined its crossover SUV model, the Harrier, by introducing the latest electronic safety equipment, and has also launched a premium special edition model, PREMIUM “Style MAUVE,” featuring exclusive interior colors. The launch took place on June 2nd. In conjunction with this, digital content will be released and a limited-time cafe will be held.

A Refined Interior with a Focus on Color
Introduced in 2013, the third-generation Toyota luxury SUV, the Harrier, currently offers two powertrain options: a hybrid combining a 2.5-liter inline-four engine with an electric motor, and a 2.0-liter inline-four engine. The Harrier has now undergone primarily equipment-focused refinements.
The latest partial refinements include the addition of a "Panoramic View Monitor" with a see-through view function to the PREMIUM “Advanced Package,” allowing the driver to see through the vehicle's exterior. The T-Connect SD navigation system, which supports safe and comfortable driving, has also been adopted. The availability of Pre-Collision Safety (optional) has been expanded for the PREMIUM model, enhancing advanced safety features. Additionally, a new exterior color, Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, has been introduced.
Accompanying this update are the special edition models PREMIUM "Style MAUVE" and PREMIUM "Advanced Package Style MAUVE," which emphasize an even higher level of refinement.
As its name suggests, derived from "MAUVE," the English word for a pale purple color, the interior is unified with a chic and calming purple theme. The instrument panel and door trims feature "Steel Mauve," an exclusive interior color for this model, with "Dark Violet" stitching. Even the seatbelts are in "Dark Violet," showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
The shift panel is finished in "Fascinate Black," a piano black base with a subtle aurora pattern in a bluish-purple hue. The steering wheel is a 3-spoke model wrapped in piano black-style genuine leather. The Alcantara®-accented seats are equipped with an 8-way power driver's seat and 4-way power front passenger seat with a memory system, as well as a comfort heating system, enhancing not only the appearance but also the comfort.
The exterior is equipped with exclusive 18-inch aluminum wheels featuring a cut polished finish on black painted surfaces. A total of five exterior colors are available, including the specially set Red Mica Metallic and the new Blackish Ageha Glass Flake introduced with this update.
Prices including tax, excluding Hokkaido and Okinawa regions, are: "Harrier Hybrid PREMIUM "Advanced Package Style MAUVE"" at ¥4,692,109, and "Harrier Hybrid PREMIUM "Style MAUVE"" at ¥4,132,473. For gasoline models, the "Harrier PREMIUM "Advanced Package Style MAUVE"" is ¥3,797,673 (2WD) and ¥3,992,073 (4WD), while the "Harrier PREMIUM "Style MAUVE"" is ¥3,237,055 (2WD) and ¥3,431,455 (4WD).
Limited-Time Cafe Collaboration with Arflex and Sarutahiko Coffee
In conjunction with the launch of "Style MAUVE," special digital content and a real-world event, a limited-time cafe, are being held simultaneously.
The online content is titled "H.H.360." This digital experience allows users to explore the refined interior of the special edition model in 360 degrees amidst a grand landscape. A smartphone and the latest browser are recommended for viewing.
Meanwhile, the real-world event is the "TOYOTA HARRIER CAFE." This special limited-time cafe, themed around the "Style MAUVE" purple motif, features sofas from interior brand Arflex placed on a purple carpet. These sofas are custom-made using the interior material of the Style MAUVE and are based on the brand's signature "Marenco" model, creating a space where visitors can relax and virtually experience the refined interior of the Style MAUVE.
The cafe also offers original custom coffee created by specialty coffee roaster "Sarutahiko Coffee." Named "Style MAUVE," this signature coffee is a special menu item, inspired by the theme color purple, and is exclusively available at the Harrier Cafe.
The TOYOTA HARRIER CAFE will be held at the Roppongi Hills Grand Roof Plaza in Tokyo from June 24th (Wednesday) to June 28th (Sunday).
