The 'Audi R8' is a sports car that sits at the pinnacle of the Audi lineup, inheriting the DNA of the Audi R8 racing car, which achieved five victories in the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race and 62 wins in endurance races worldwide. The 'Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro', making its debut in Japan, is the top-tier model in the R8 lineup, following the V8 engine, 6-speed R tronic transmission 'R8 4.2 FSI quattro' released in July 2007, and the manual transmission specification added this February. Reservations for this model began on April 21st.

The event features not only the actual car on display but also a driving simulator using 'Gran Turismo 5' for a virtual driving experience, and a special exhibition looking back at Audi's 100-year history. It's packed with attractions.

Furthermore, after the event concludes, a website will be launched allowing visitors to experience the event in 3D online.
