Can Also Run on Bioethanol. Equipped with a 6-Liter W12 Twin-Turbo Engine

The Continental GT Coupe, a luxury GT coupe launched by Bentley in 2003, can be considered a pioneering model that embodied the confidence of its developers among the reborn Bentley lineup. While inheriting the concept from its predecessor, this new model has been refined to a high level in all aspects, including design, functionality, craftsmanship, performance, and luxury.

The engine is a 6-liter W12 twin-turbo, delivering a maximum output of 575 ps and a peak torque of 700 Nm. Furthermore, this engine is capable of running not only on gasoline but also on E85 bioethanol.

Paired with this engine is ZF's "6HP28" 6-speed automatic transmission. This transmission, known as Quickshift, boasts a rapid shift speed of 0.2 seconds and allows for double downshifts from 6th to 4th or 5th to 3rd gear.

The drivetrain employs the latest Torsen all-wheel-drive system. For sporty handling, the power distribution is typically biased towards the rear at 40:60, but it can be instantly adjusted according to grip conditions with the road surface. This ensures the Continental GT Coupe's potential is always leveraged for optimal performance. In addition, significant efforts have been made to reduce weight, achieving a 65kg reduction compared to the previous model. The combination of the powerful engine, advanced technology, and weight reduction results in the new Continental GT achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 318 km/h.

Regarding environmental considerations, the introduction of a 4-liter V8 engine, with approximately 40 percent reduced CO2 emissions, is planned for the latter half of 2011.

Inside, rear legroom has been increased by about 2 inches, and the cabin features seats with improved hold, a stylish and modern dashboard, and the latest navigation system, enhancing its entertainment capabilities.
