Refined Styling: The BMW X6 Undergoes a Minor Change



BMW has announced a minor refresh for the interior and exterior of its largest SUV, the BMW X6, which features a coupe-like roofline. Sales commenced on June 7th.

The More Assertive Flagship of the BMW X Series






The X6, now boasting a more assertive presence with refined design, went on sale June 7th.

The BMW X6, a fusion of coupe and SUV styling, has received minor updates to its exterior and interior. Performance, including the engines for both the xDrive35i and xDrive50i, remains unchanged.

The exterior has been enhanced to emphasize a more assertive image. For instance, the signature BMW kidney grille now features its top bar aligned with the lower edge of the headlights.

Additionally, a matte silver frame has been added above the front bumper's air intakes. This change also repositioned the fog lights, giving the entire bumper a more sculpted appearance.

The headlights have also seen design modifications.The recently unveiled 6 Series Gran CoupéThe optional LED headlights, also found on other BMW models like the recently announced "6 Series Gran Coupé," are now available, and their design has been sharpened with eyebrow-like accent lines above the lights, enhancing their keen look.

The 20-inch wheels, previously an option across all grades, are now standard equipment on the xDrive50i.

The interior sees equipment upgrades. The "BMW Head-Up Display," which projects information such as vehicle speed and navigation data onto a screen above the instrument cluster, is now standard on the xDrive50i, having been an option previously.

Furthermore, both the xDrive35i and xDrive50i models now come standard with a "USB Audio Interface," allowing for the connection of portable audio players and similar devices.

Pricing for the xDrive35i, equipped with a 3-liter inline six-cylinder turbo engine, remains unchanged at 8.56 million yen. The xDrive50i, featuring a 4.4-liter V8 engine, sees a price increase of 340,000 yen from the previous model, now priced at 11.32 million yen.
