Achieving a Vehicle Weight of 850kg!

Unveiled at last year's Geneva Motor Show and hailed by Germany's "Auto Bild" magazine as "the most beautiful concept car,"the "4C Concept"will also be exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 4C Concept is a mid-engined, two-seater coupe, powered by a 1.75-liter four-cylinder direct-injection turbo engine producing over 200hp, mounted centrally. In terms of dimensions, it is approximately 4 meters long with a wheelbase under 2.4 meters. While inheriting design, layout, and lightweight materials from the 8C Competizione, sold in a limited run of 500 units in 2006, the 4C Concept takes lightweight construction to an extreme. The entire body is made of carbon, with the rear frame and crash boxes constructed entirely from aluminum. The result is a vehicle weight of 850kg, comparable to a racing car, achieving a power-to-weight ratio of less than 4kg/hp.

Furthermore,MiTO,Giuliettain combination with the "Alfa TCT" dry dual-clutch transmission, also used in the , it is reported to achieve a top speed of 250 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 5 seconds.

The car shown at the Geneva Motor Show had a red body color, but the new "Fluid Metal" color will be exhibited at this Frankfurt Motor Show. This color, with its silver reflective surface, accentuates dynamic and beautiful curves, conveying a sense of power and technology.

In addition to the 4C Concept, the latest designs of the Giulietta and MiTO will be exhibited, with a presentation of Alfa Romeo's latest technologies planned.

The commercialization of the 4C Concept, initially slated for 2012 at the time of the Geneva Motor Show, has been extended to 2013 with the consideration of introducing new technologies. We look forward to its eventual release as a model that offers the ultimate driving pleasure through further refinement.
