The FF Launch Also a Success Factor

Retail business saw a 45 percent increase. Among the 46 Ferrari Stores worldwide, "Ferrari World Abu Dhabi" in the United Arab Emirates recorded the highest sales.

Although not yet reflected in these financial results, the launch of the "FF (Ferrari Four)," Ferrari's first four-seater, four-wheel-drive model, is also considered a significant success.FF (Ferrari Four)is believed to have contributed to the success.

"If the momentum from the first half continues into the second, this will be Ferrari's most exceptional year ever. This result is a testament to the market expansion strategy we have adopted and the continuous technological innovation we have pursued. Furthermore, we have begun deliveries of our latest model, the 'FF,' with the first order coming from a customer in India. The impact of these two significant factors – the delivery of the new model and our entry into the Indian market – will become apparent from the second half of 2011 onwards," commented Ferrari S.p.A. Chairman Luca di Montezemolo.
