The "911" Sees Significant Price Reductions

With the introduction of the 2012 models, new pricing has also been announced. All models now come standard with ETC. The "Boxster" and "Cayman" have each increased by 50,000 yen, the "Panamera" by 40,000 to 250,000 yen, and the "Cayenne" by 40,000 yen. In contrast, the "911" has seen significant price reductions, with most models dropping by over 1 million yen. The "911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet" has been reduced by a substantial 2.1 million yen, making it an even more appealing choice.

Carrera 4 GTS Coupe and Cabriolet Join the Lineup

Newly added to the lineup is the "911 Carrera 4 GTS" in both coupe and cabriolet forms, positioned at the pinnacle of the Carrera range. Both models boast the highest performance in the Carrera series, generating 300 kW (408 hp) through optimized intake manifolds, while also offering excellent torque characteristics in the low to mid-RPM range for responsive driving even in city traffic.

The vehicles are equipped with black-painted center-lock 19-inch center-lock spider wheels and 305/30 ZR19 rear tires, similar to previous GTS models. Inside, the sport seats with black Alcantara center sections, along with the steering wheel, shift lever, and door handles, are exclusive GTS model features that catch the eye.

Cayman S Adds a Black Edition

The "Cayman S Black Edition" is powered by a 3.4-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine. Compared to the "Cayman S", its maximum output is increased by 7 kW (10 hp) to 243 kW (330 hp) at 7,400 rpm (200 rpm higher than before), while the maximum torque remains at 370 Nm at 4,750 rpm. The wheels are also an inch larger, with 235/35 ZR19 tires fitted to the front and 265/35 ZR19 tires to the rear.

The exterior and interior are unified in a deep black. Standard equipment includes dynamic cornering lights, LED welcome home lights, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated rain sensor, enhancing driving comfort.

The New Top Model for Gran Turismo: Panamera Turbo S

The "Panamera Turbo S" excels in performance, efficiency, driving dynamics, and comfort. Its 4.8-liter V8 twin-turbo engine produces 410 kW (550 hp), an increase of 37 kW (50 hp) over the "Panamera Turbo", and its maximum torque has been increased from 700 Nm to 750 Nm. With the standard Sport Chrono Package Turbo, selecting "Sport Mode" or "Sport Plus Mode," or performing a kick-down in "Normal Mode," allows for an overboost function that generates up to 800 Nm of torque.

The 0-100 km/h acceleration is a mere 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 306 km/h. Despite this performance, fuel consumption is kept to 11.5 L/100 km, on par with the Panamera Turbo. This is truly a prime example of "Porsche Intelligent Performance."
