Improved Audio Usability

The BMW X6 is a "SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle)" that fuses the elegant form of a coupe with high utility and off-road capability. The engine is a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo for the BMW X6 M and BMW X6 xDrive50i, and a 3-liter inline-6 twin-turbo for the BMW X6 xDrive35i. Furthermore, it employs the intelligent all-wheel-drive system "xDrive," providing the off-road performance unique to four-wheel-drive vehicles while enhancing on-road performance.

It achieves both high driving performance and environmental friendliness. Notably, the BMW X6 xDrive35i achieves 9.4 km/l in 10-15 mode fuel economy. By meeting the "FY2010 Fuel Economy Standards +20%" and "FY2005 Emission Standards 75% Reduction Level," it qualifies for eco-car tax reductions, with a 50% reduction in acquisition tax and weight tax.

To further enhance convenience, the seating capacity for all grades has been changed from four to five occupants. For the BMW X6 xDrive35i and BMW X6 xDrive50i, the shift logic for the paddle shifters has been improved to match the BMW X6 M, with right for upshifts and left for downshifts. Additionally, an LED rear license plate light, Bluetooth, and audio streaming capabilities have been added.

There are no price changes associated with these updates to standard equipment; prices remain the same. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2011.

The BMW X6, now with improved usability, represents a further evolution of this premium crossover, offering both elegant design and dynamic driving.
