A Special Edition Limited to 100 Units Worldwide

In February of this year, on the ice of the Baltic Sea off the coast of Finland, a Bentley Continental Supersports, driven by former WRC champion Juha Kankkunen, achieved a world record speed of 330.695 km/h for an open-top model with a soft top. To commemorate this, the Bentley Supersports "Ice Speed Record" Convertible, a special edition based on that car, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

The engine is a 6-liter W12 twin-turbocharged unit. Modifications to the intercooler and exhaust system result in Bentley's most powerful engine ever, with an output of 471kW (640ps) and 800Nm (81.6kgm) of torque. Like the base model, the car can run on regular gasoline as well as a blend of gasoline and ethanol (E85), aiming to reduce CO2 emissions by 70 percent (in Japan, where E85 is not approved for sale, it will likely only be compatible with regular premium gasoline).

The drivetrain employs a four-wheel-drive system with a Torsen differential. The wheels are 20-inch 10-spoke Supersports wheels. For braking, large carbon-ceramic discs are fitted, measuring 420mm at the front and 356mm at the rear. The front features 8-piston calipers to enhance braking performance.

Three body colors are available: Beluga, Quartzite, and Arctica White, each combined with a dark grey metallic soft top.

The interior features high-gloss carbon fiber for the dashboard, center console, and roof panel. Red accent lines are a striking feature throughout the cabin. The seats and door trims are finished with traditional diamond quilting, and a Breitling clock is mounted on the dashboard. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system controls audio, navigation, and other functions. This Bentley Supersports "Ice Speed Record" Convertible is announced as a limited production of 100 units worldwide.
