Sporty Components Applied Down to the Finest Details

The new BMW X3, set to go on sale in the European market from spring 2011, will soon be available with an M Sport Package. This includes dedicated suspension, aerodynamic parts, and exterior/interior components. In the European market, this package can be selected regardless of the engine model.

The updated X3 features improvements to the engine and suspension, making it sportier than previous models. BMW's proprietary "xDrive" all-wheel-drive system is standard on all models, and its effectiveness is particularly noted during tight cornering. Furthermore, this new X3 is the first in the X series to adopt the Dynamic Damper Control system and Drive Dynamic Control, allowing drivers to customize driving characteristics with the push of a button.

The M Sport Package features a dedicated sports suspension developed by M, enabling even more dynamic driving. Visually, to enhance the sporty image, it incorporates exclusive front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a roof spoiler, and 18-inch M alloy wheels (19-inch and 20-inch options are also available). The front and rear bumpers and fender arches are color-matched to the body. High-gloss "Shadow Line" trim is applied around the windows and on the roof rails. The Carbon Black Metallic color is offered as a dedicated option.

The interior features sport seats combining fabric and leather. The steering wheel includes paddle shifters and multi-function buttons for cruise control and other functions. Furthermore, with "M" elements such as side sills bearing the M logo, an M footrest, and an M shift lever, this vehicle is crafted to captivate the driver's heart.
