Limited Edition Hand Cream for Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign Launches

The Estée Lauder Companies' "Pink Ribbon Campaign," held annually in October worldwide, promotes correct knowledge about breast cancer, early detection, and the importance of medical research through events and limited-edition product launches. AVEDA will release the "Pink Ribbon CA Hand Cream," a limited-time product to support breast cancer patients, on October 1, 2020 (Thursday).

A Portion of Sales Donated! Hand Cream Mindful of the Environment

This year's limited-edition cosmetic from AVEDA for Pink Ribbon Month is the "Pink Ribbon CA Hand Cream," featuring the popular "Cherry Almond" scent, which recently welcomed a new addition to its body care line.

Its sweet and floral fragrance, derived from 38 plant essences including orange, ylang-ylang, and tonka bean, is captivating. Formulated with plant-derived emollient ingredients, it moisturizes dry hands, leaving them smooth and radiant.

For each hand cream sold, $5 will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in the U.S. In Japan, approximately 200 yen (about 5% of the product price) will be donated to organizations such as the BCRF and the Japan Breast Cancer Research Group (JBCRG) to support medical research.

The packaging is also environmentally conscious, utilizing 59% post-consumer recycled (PCR) HDPE and 41% bioplastic (96% naturally derived, 4% petrochemical).
