Coconut oil is extracted from the white flesh (endosperm) of coconuts. COCO ORGANICS uses coconuts from the original species that grow wild along the coast of Nigeria, untouched by pesticides and unadulterated by cross-breeding. The oil is harvested using a traditional Nigerian method: the freshly picked coconuts are crushed, steeped in water, and only the naturally separated supernatant oil (first press oil) is collected. This yields a precious extra virgin coconut oil, with only 1ℓ obtainable from 100 coconuts.

Incidentally, many Nigerian coconuts grow on tall trees and fall naturally, whereas coconuts in Southeast Asia are harvested by hand and pressed for oil, which is said to put stress on the oil.

The Nigerian coconut oil, harvested from coconuts grown in a naturally abundant and expansive environment, is not only resistant to oxidation but also rich in lauric acid, which has high antioxidant and immune-boosting properties, similar to that found in breast milk. This makes it effective against oxidation, a primary cause of skin aging.

The "Fresh Soap" is a raw soap with a creamy, soft texture, meticulously crafted using a cold saponification process that avoids heating the coconut oil.
