NatureLab has launched "Medicinal CICA Cream" nationwide on April 1st (Saturday). This new product is part of the "Acnes Lab" skincare brand, which offers fundamental care and hydration for skin concerns such as acne and sensitivity, and features the popular CICA ingredient.

The "Medicinal CICA Cream," the first new product in three years, follows Acnes Lab's signature items, "Medicinal Spot Cream" and "Medicinal Whitening Cream." Like its predecessors, it was developed under the supervision of Hitoshi Aizawa, a leading expert in acne care.

Over the past three years of the pandemic, many skin concerns brought to Mr. Aizawa have changed from pre-COVID times, such as "maskne." This new product incorporates CICA ingredients to address these evolving skin concerns, offering potential benefits in preventing skin irritation. In addition to CICA, it contains niacinamide and dipotassium glycyrrhizate as active ingredients.

Furthermore, unlike the "Medicinal Spot Cream" and "Medicinal Whitening Cream" which target specific areas, the "Medicinal CICA Cream" has a softer texture, making it suitable for preventing skin irritation on wider areas like the cheeks and chin, as well as for preventing recurring back acne. Its texture is refreshingly soft, contrasting with the firmer texture of spot creams used for targeted application. Formulated with plant-derived ingredients, it is also recommended for sensitive and fluctuating skin types, ensuring it can be used by those with delicate skin, just like previous products.

The Acnes Lab series is developed based on over 35 years of research by Hitoshi Aizawa, who has addressed the skin concerns of over 500,000 people (as of the end of 2022). Moving forward, the brand aims to provide fundamental care for both adult and adolescent acne, nurturing healthy bare skin through an approach that truly considers the skin's needs.
