My Own "Balance" Maintained Abroad
My work involves project management specifically for international companies, so I spend about half the year overseas. Because of this, I pay close attention to self-management. I make sure not to neglect my daily exercise to avoid health issues from irregular eating habits due to business dinners or lack of sleep from jet lag.
Exercise helps me maintain physical balance, and I aim to run about 40km a week. If I can't run, I do strength training indoors. Push-ups, 200 of them! (laughs) For meals, I tend to eat more at breakfast and give my digestive system a rest at night. I dedicate at least two hours from waking up until I leave the house to establish my own rhythm. This includes exercise, showering, shaving, applying Wakan Organics, eating, and then heading out.
Recently, I was reminded of its effectiveness during a business trip to Asia in winter. After shaving as usual, I applied Wakan Organics before going out, and my skin didn't feel dry until the evening. It's also incredibly useful on flights, which tend to be very dry. As I'm entering the age group often referred to as middle-aged and older, taking care of my skin's balance is important. Besides using it after shaving, I also apply it to my body, though I like to mix it with my favorite fragrance for a personal touch.

A newspaper article I read recently while on a business trip mentioned that wealthy individuals worldwide are increasingly interested in men's grooming. Men's beauty items are also expanding within the apparel industry. Koji Sawayama
After earning a BFA from the University of Southern California, he returned to Japan in 1996. He then gained experience in project management for commercial facilities and architecture in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, the UK, and the US. He founded his own company in 1999 and currently serves as the representative of Zekou Co., Ltd. In addition to managing projects for commercial facilities, residences, and offices, as well as store rollouts for super brands, he also designs men's suits, shoes, bags, and small leather goods. He has numerous high-profile international clients.
