Thorough Research into Men's Hair Characteristics
The global hair care brand "Clear" finally launched in Japan this April. For its release, the company meticulously studied the differences between men's and women's scalps and hair, developing the product over more than 10 years specifically for the Japanese market. The key was the fusion of "hair science" and "dermatology."
Specifically, the men's shampoo is formulated to deliver amino acids (valine), a component of protein, while thoroughly cleansing oily scalps with a formula that rinses easily. This is tailored to men's hair and scalps, which tend to produce more sebum and lose protein compared to women's. Essential nutrients for the male scalp penetrate deeply into the three layers of the scalp (upper, middle, and lower layers within the stratum corneum).
Furthermore, the Extra Care Conditioner contains GTA, a replenishing ingredient designed for men's scalps. The Medicated Scalp & Hair Sparkling Tonic features a crackling foam formula that penetrates the deepest layers of the scalp.
